a few things you may be wondering
What's it like working with you on a wedding day?
I take a very intentional approach to how I photograph. Rather than placing you into stiff poses, I guide you with movement & prompts that allow your connection to come through naturally. This allows your photos to feel genuine, emotional, & reflective of who you are together.
On your wedding day, I bring a calm, grounded presence. I’ll step in when direction is needed & step back when moments are naturally unfolding. This balance allows you to stay fully present, knowing everything is being documented with care.
At every stage, my goal is simple, for you to feel confident, comfortable, & able to fully enjoy your experience & day.
How long does it take to receive the final photos?
For weddings & elopements, the turnaround time is 6 weeks for the full gallery & you'll receive sneak peeks with 48 hours of your day.
For lifestyle sessions, the turnaround time is 10 days for the full gallery.
How far in advance should we book?
For weddings, I recommend reaching out as soon as you have your date secured. Most couples book anywhere between 6-12 months in advance & popular dates can fill quickly.
For lifestyle sessions, I typically recommend booking 3-4 weeks in advance & allow plenty of time to plan the perfect location, outfits, & overall vision for your session. With that said, if your date is coming up soon, don't hesitate to reach out, I may still have availability!
What is your booking process like?
Booking is easy! Start by filling out my inquiry form & sharing a little about what you're looking for. Once I've received your inquiry, I'll confirm availability & we'll chat through the details to make sure we're the perfect fit.
From there I'll send over your contract & retainer invoice. Once those are completed, your date is officially reserved on my calendar!
Whether you're planning a wedding or lifestyle session, you'll receive helpful resources & guidance from me throughout the process so you can feel confident, prepared, & excited leading up to your day!
What happens if it rains or the weather is bad?
If the forecast looks gloomy, rainy, or unsafe, don't worry! We'll keep in touch leading up to your session & decide together whether to reschedule or switch to a covered location. Your experience & comfort are always my priority & I'll make sure we still get beautiful photos no matter what!
Do you offer engagement sessions with your wedding packages?
Yes! Engagement or bridal sessions are included in most of my wedding collections & it's a great opportunity for us to get to know each other before the big day. They also help you become comfortable in front of the camera so your wedding day portraits feel natural & relaxed.
Complimentary engagement or bridal sessions take place within the Greater Houston area. If you're dreaming of a different location, I'd be happy to discuss travel options!
What if i don't know how to pose or feel uncomfortable in front of a camera?
You don't need to know how to pose at all, that's my job! I use gentle direction & natural prompts to help you relax, have fun, & connect in the moment. Most clients start out thinking they're awkward and by the end they feel completely at ease.
My goal is to make the entire experience feel effortless so your photos reflect the real you.
Do you travel & are there fees?
YES! I love traveling & am always excited to document your story wherever it takes place.
For weddings & elopements, basic travel is already included in my collections, so there are no surprise fees once you've received your custom proposal.
For lifestyle sessions, travel within the greater Houston area is included. If your session falls outside of that area, any applicable travel fee will always be discussed upfront before booking.
Do you help with planning & timelines?
Absolutely! From engagement session planning to creating a photography wedding timeline that keeps your day flowing smoothly, I'm here to help throughout the process.
Can I add film photography to my wedding or session?
Yes! 35 mm film can be added to any wedding or lifestyle session. Film offers a nostalgic, timeless look & often becomes some of my clients' favorite images from their gallery.
